Membership dues cover January through December of each calendar year. The Association Welcomes Applications for the Following Types of Memberships:

Ordinary Membership

Ordinary membership is available to professionals working in disciplines such as medicine, psychology, law, social work, counseling, psychotherapy, family studies, sociology, anthropology, speech and voice therapy and sexology

Advocate Membership

membership is available to individuals who do not work in the professional disciplines listed above, but still have an interest in being an active member of the organization.

Student Membership

Student membership are individuals who would be eligible for professional membership in the association upon graduation. Areas of study include law, medicine, social work, counseling, psychology, speech and language therapy, public health, family studies, psychotherapy, marriage and family therapy, women/gender/queer studies, sexology, sociology, anthropology, linguistics, pharmacology and other academic and applied disciplines that contribute, or have the potential to contribute, to the wellbeing of transgender individuals and to the field of transgender health.
